Holy Ghost Parish is a Christian family in the Roman Catholic tradition created to be a sign of Christ’s presence in the Hammond community.
Guided by the Holy Spirit we are committed to use our time, talent, and treasures to: proclaim the word, celebrate faith through meaningful liturgies and sacramental rites, support and strengthen the family, nourish the spiritual formation of our members through educational and social ministries, develop the strengths and talents of our young people through the parish school and comprehensive youth program, and live out our beliefs in effective witness and service to people in need.

The Holy Ghost conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is going to sponsor a raffle for a 3-night weekend in Orange Beach, Alabama. The weekend would be from September 2019 to February 2020 with at least 8 weeks notice to make the reservation. The condo has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 8.
Please consider buying a ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $25 to support the work of SVdP in our area. Your generosity will help us continue to provide services to the needy. Tickets will be sold after all Masses on the weekend of February 9-10 and the drawing will be on March 10.

At Holy Ghost, we help with basic necessities like food, clothes, rent, utilities and gasoline. We help our neighbors by networking with many other charitable organizations in the area.
